Downloading tachograph data using the DigiVu *

How do I know if I’ve successfully downloaded data from my tachograph using the DigiVu?

Follow these steps to download data from the tachograph using the DigiVu:

  1. Insert the company card into slot 1 of the tachograph.

  2. Connect the DigiVu to the tachograph.

  3. The lights on the DigiVu will first turn orange. Wait until both lights turn green — this indicates the tachograph has been successfully read.

To verify that the data was correctly downloaded, connect the DigiVu to your computer and open the DigiConnect program. The files will automatically transfer to the software.

If you don’t see the files in the software, check if they are stored on the DigiVu:
Open DigiConnect and click on “Show files on this device”.
On the left-hand side, the tachograph and driver files will be displayed.

If no files appear, the tachograph may not have been read correctly. Try the following solutions:

  • Check if a DigiVu update is available via DigiConnect and install it.

  • Repeat the steps above to ensure they were followed correctly.
