No new data at my drivers *
I don't see new data on my drivers page
Don’t have DigiConnect installed on your computer yet?
Click here for the download instructions.
I use a DigiVU or card reader
Please check the following steps:
-
Is the DigiConnect program open?
-
Have you connected your DigiVU and/or card reader to your computer?
-
Do you have an active internet connection?
To read the DigiVU or driver card, it’s essential to open DigiConnect.
Without opening DigiConnect, it is not possible to transfer data from the hardware to the software.
DigiConnect looks like this:
Once DigiConnect is launched, the DigiVU and/or card reader will appear on screen. The DigiVU will then automatically start reading data. If you want to read a driver card, insert it into the card reader now.
At the bottom right of your screen, you’ll see the files being read. These files are automatically sent to Digitac Web.
All files are also automatically saved in the archive folder. When you open the archive folder, you’ll find two subfolders:
-
Drivers – contains C (driver) files
-
Vehicles – contains M (vehicle) files
Once no new files appear at the bottom right, all data has been read. They will appear in the software after approximately 2–3 minutes.
All files are now in Digitac Web, and you may close DigiConnect.
My files still don’t appear in Digitac Web
Have you only connected your card reader?
Also connect the DigiVU to your computer – together with the card reader.
Sometimes the card reader loses authentication with our server – connecting it with the DigiVU will restore it. Restart DigiConnect afterward.
Check if the archive is set to manual. It must be set to automatic to ensure all files are transferred to the software.
You can check this in DigiConnect:
-
Click on Options
-
Go to the Archive tab and select Automatic
-
Then click Apply and OK
This looks like:
I use DigiDL(s) / RDU(s) for automatic downloads
Driver files are read and processed in Digitac Web every 21 days.
If you check earlier, the files may not have been uploaded yet and driver activities may not be visible.
Has it been more than 21 days since the last readout?
Please check how many drivers/vehicles you are licensed for.
If you’re trying to read more than your license allows, data may not be transferred correctly. Contact Support if this is the case.
Do you have enough licenses? Then check the status LEDs on your device:
How to check if the LEDs for automatic reading are functioning correctly:
DigiDL-B(T)/E:
-
Pull the device forward
-
Check the red LED
-
If it’s on, the device has power
-
If it’s off, it receives no power – check cables and ignition
-
If it blinks, it’s performing tasks – wait until it stops
-
-
Check the green LED
-
If it’s on, the DigiDL is connected to the CAN
-
If off or blinking while the engine is on, the CAN connection is not working – a technician must open the CAN port in the tachograph and ensure Remote Download is enabled
-
-
Check the blue LED
-
If it’s on, the device has internet
-
If it’s off, there’s no communication
-
Check if the SIM card is inserted correctly (chip facing down, corner facing back)
-
Make sure the antenna is properly placed on the window, away from other radio-signal devices, and connected to the ‘GSM’ port
-
Ensure the vehicle is not parked in a garage or covered area
-
-
Only for DigiDL BT/ET (Track & Trace):
White LED – if on, GPS is active and the vehicle can be tracked.
If not, the cause is likely poor satellite reception.
-
Is the vehicle outside, with a clear view of the sky?
-
Is the GPS antenna placed for optimal signal?
RDU:
-
Pull the device forward
-
If the LED is solid green, the RDU works fine
-
If the LED blinks orange, there’s an issue
-
Count the blinks before the pause:
-
1x – power supply issue, check cables
-
2x – check SIM card placement
-
3–6x – contact Support
-
7x – VU CAN/CAN-C issue, garage must check if CAN port is open
-
8x – garage must ensure Remote Download is enabled
-
9–11x – contact Support
