Where to apply

Tachograph company cards are issued by the national authority or agency responsible for transport, road safety, or vehicle regulation. This varies by country. In general, you will need to apply through your country's official body, such as:

• The national vehicle licensing agency

• A transport or infrastructure ministry

• A road safety authority

Example:

• In Germany: the KBA – Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt

• In the Netherlands: the Kiwa

• In the UK: the DVLA – Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency
