Tachograph calibration *

Vehicles

It is a legal requirement to have the tachograph calibrated every two years. In practice, this biennial calibration is often combined with the vehicle’s periodic inspection (MOT).

In addition to the regular calibration, the tachograph must also be recalibrated if it has been replaced or if tires with a different size have been mounted on the vehicle.

Tachograph calibration may only be performed by an authorized workshop.
