The correct version of DigiConnect *

You can use this article to check the latest version of DigiConnect.

It’s possible that you need to update DigiConnect first before a firmware update becomes available for your DigiVu.

Steps:

1. Go to https://www.tachosys.com/Product/digiConnect

2. Click on ‘Software Download’

3. Fully close your current version of DigiConnect by right-clicking the icon in your taskbar:

   • Select ‘Close Window’

4. Follow the steps to download the latest version of DigiConnect

5. DigiConnect will restart automatically

6. Connect the DigiVu* to your computer

7. The firmware update will appear automatically — complete the update

8. Your DigiVu is now up to date and ready to read the newest Smart Tachograph

* The same applies to DigiFob.

Still unable to read your Smart Tachograph?

Check the serial number on your DigiVu:

• Does the serial number start with 585?
  → Unfortunately, this device is not compatible with the newest tachograph.

• Does the serial number start with 198?
  → Then it should be able to read the newest tachograph with the latest firmware update.
