DigiDL: No new data available *
I don't see new data appear at my drivers or vehicles in the software
I use DigiDL(s) for automatic downloads
Driver files are automatically downloaded and processed in Digitac Web every 21 days, and vehicle files every 30–90 days (depending on your contract).
If you check before the scheduled download date, these files will not yet be loaded into the software, and driver activities will not be visible yet.
Has it been more than 21 days since your drivers’ last download?
Check how many drivers/vehicles you have subscribed for. You might be trying to load data for more drivers/vehicles than agreed in your contract. This may prevent the data from being transferred properly. In this case, please contact the Support department.
If your license is not the cause, check the lights on your DigiDL.
How do I check if the lights for automatic downloading are working correctly?
DigiDL:
-
Make sure you can see the DigiDL unit.
-
Check the red light
-
If it is on, the unit has power.
-
If it is off, the DigiDL is not receiving power.
-
Check if the cables are properly connected and/or if the vehicle ignition is on.
-
If the red light is blinking, the unit is performing tasks — wait until it stops.
-
-
Check the green light
-
If it is on, the DigiDL has a connection to the CAN.
-
If it is off or blinking while the vehicle ignition is on, the CAN connection is not correct. This may be due to tachograph settings. The CAN port on the tachograph must be opened by a technician, and Remote Download must be enabled.
-
-
Check the blue light
-
If it is on, the unit has a network connection.
-
If it is off, there is no communication.
-
Check if the SIM card is inserted correctly: the chip should face down, and the corner notch should point backwards.
-
Important: Never remove the SIM card while the unit is powered on!
-
Ensure the antenna is properly placed on the dashboard, connected to the “GSM” port. Check that the antenna is kept away from other devices with radio signals.
-
The vehicle should not be parked inside a warehouse or similar enclosed area.
-
Only for DigiDL with tracking:
-
White light:
-
If it is on, there is a GPS connection, and the vehicle can be tracked via track & trace.
-
If it is off, it likely means there is no proper connection to the satellites.
-
Check the following:
-
Is the vehicle parked outside, not between tall buildings, and with a clear view of the open sky?
-
Is the GPS antenna positioned in a way that maximizes its view of the sky?
